Graduate Testing

One of the common hurdles many potential graduate students have when applying for online MBA programs can be graduate testing scores.  The most common tests include the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) and the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE).

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is one of the most popular graduate business degree programs.  Admissions to many of these prestigious programs do require candidates to take either the GMAT or GRE and in some cases both or just the GMAT exam.

We will explore which top programs in the United States do not require GMAT or GRE scores for those students who do not wish to take the exams to gain entrance to an online MBA program.  It should be noted that many colleges and universities are considering waiving or dropping entrance exams altogether to remain competitive as well as appeal to those students who may not test well and receive lower scores and limit their admission options.

Overview of the GRE:

The Graduate Records Examination otherwise referred to as the GRE is an examination often required for entry into graduate-level education programs.  The GRE exam comprises three main areas; analytical writing assessment, verbal reasoning assessment, and a quantitative assessment.

Many online educational programs are waiving or not requiring these scores to be submitted to gain admission into their degree programs.

Overview of the GMAT:

The Graduate Management Admission Test is otherwise known as the GMAT is a business school exam that has four key components.  The key areas assessed using the exam include; analytical writing, integrated reasoning, quantitative reasoning, and finally verbal reasoning.

This is the most common and in most cases required exam needed to be taken to gain entrance into MBA programs.
